Setup for the native app
Native macOS and Windows builds. Your vault lives in a folder on your machine. AI runs through your Amani Digital subscription — no Claude key, no Claude Pro. The Windows build is code-signed and installs normally; on macOS, code signing is still in flight, so you’ll see a one-time security warning the first time you open it.

The Windows build is code-signed and opens normally. On macOS, code signing is still in flight, so you’ll see a one-time warning the first time you open Prism — here’s how to get past it. After that, it opens like any other app.
macOS
The download is Prism.app.tar.gz. Double-click it to extract Prism.app (Safari does this automatically; some browsers leave the .tar.gz file). Then right-click Prism.app and choose Open. Click Open again on the warning dialog. Done.
Windows
The Windows build is code-signed, so it installs and opens normally — no SmartScreen warning or workaround needed.
Windows builds are code-signed. macOS signing (Apple Developer ID) is still in flight — once it’s live, the macOS step above disappears too.
Sign in to Amani Digital
Click the sign-in button. Prism opens your browser, you sign in at amanidigital.com, and the browser hands you back to the app. Your password never enters Prism. After this, the app uses your subscription’s AI quota directly — no Claude API key, no Claude Pro.
Choose where your vault lives
If you already have a Prism vault from the Claude Desktop extension, Prism finds it and offers to keep using it. Otherwise it defaults to your OS’s app-data folder — ~/Library/Application Support/Prism/vault on Mac, %APPDATA%\Prism\vault on Windows. Edit the path on the screen if you want it somewhere else.
Start your first assessment
The final onboarding screen has a Start your first assessmentbutton. Click it and the AI opens a guided conversation, walking you through the dimensions. Sessions save automatically — come back tomorrow or in a month and pick up where you left off.

Questions
Is it really free to start?
Yes. You get a 7-day free trial with full access to all 10 dimensions. No credit card is required to begin.
Where is my data stored?
Your vault is a folder on your computer (default ~/Documents/Prism, but you pick). The AI runs through your Amani Digital subscription — the app contacts our servers only to use your subscription’s AI quota. Your vault contents never leave your machine, and nothing is used to train AI models.
Can I use my Blueprint with other AI?
Yes. Your Blueprint is a portable, signed context file. Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or any AI you use, and watch generic advice become advice from something that knows you. The file is yours — locked to no one.
Why does macOS warn me the first time I open Prism Desktop?
The Windows build is code-signed, so it installs and opens normally. On macOS, code signing (Apple Developer ID) is still in flight, so the OS shows a one-time warning the first time you open Prism: right-click Prism.app and choose Open, then Open again on the dialog. After the first open, it behaves like any other app.
